Pip Pip

Pip Pip

Who do you see when you look at me

For I am not old..

My heart is free

My body may be slow and worn

But that is of no concern

It is just a weary vessel for my soul

My Heart is free

My eyes may be failing

But I still see

I remember how it was and

I imagine how it will be

But don’t you worry

My heart is free

Your eyes may be failing

When you look at me

Who is it that you see?

Is your heart free?

Do you see an old dog

Declining in health and

Stumbling along

And wonder when I’ll die

Or do you see my kindred Spirit

The depth of my soul

The love in my eyes

For when I am gone, don’t grieve for me

For when all is done

It is not only my heart

But also my soul that is free.

This poem was written by Pip Pip only months before she was collected by the Angels, Pip Pip could only reach so many people on this earth, to show them how to love, and most of all how to be happy and enjoy life and enjoyed moments of glorious skipping on her walks which were slow and mindful, just enjoying every moment, one by one.  Now she is a little angel in heaven spreading her love to many.

In response to her poem, Pip Pip's beautiful Earth Angel, Sarah Brett from Kununurra Veterinary Clinic wrote this reply -

Oh thank you so much Mary and Pip pip......bless you both for being such wonderous treasures in my life.

This little reply came this afternoon when I was re reading your poem..

In my eyes you always were

a kid at heart inside that fur

Full of laughs and so much fun

with tons of love for everyone.

The gifts you gave, to man and beast

will not be gone even in the least

The joy you lived and truly shared

will stay forever, my Soul is bared.

With all my love sweet ladies

Sarah
